Some pictures from a diving safari to the extreme south of Egypt, partially even extreme north of Sudan:)
This pictures were taken with our dumb Olympus u1030 camera, though this time it had help from the Fantasea Remora strobe I bought especially for this trip. I must say it rocks. I still need to check how things look in the murky Polish waters, but from what I've seen in Egypt it seems that the strobe will be useful here as well.
As for the trip itself it was pleasant. The reef in the south are pristine, though not much bigger fish there:( We were expecting loads of sharks and mantas but just seen two white tips. Other groups have seen a thresher, but 4 sharks for a week of diving is a rather disappointing result. Water temperature was as nice surprise. Prior to departure I did a little bit of research and I was expecting water to be somewhere around 27 degrees Celsius. This is why I bought a 7mm wetsuit especially for this safari, however it turned out that the water was 31 degrees Celsius all the time so we were diving in shorts and T-shirts:)
